My car SUCKS ***** on motor, but it picks up a full second on a 100 shot using the jets from the NOS chart. So I can definitely see you picking up .7 on a 100hp shot.

Your car at 3300+ will no way pick up that much ET in the mid-bottom 9 second range with only a 100 hp. You may have jets in there that say it's a 100hp but I have first hand experience of my old NX Gemini being jetted for 200hp and picking up 330hp on the dyno. Sometimes that NX stuff floooooowwws good.

i run 950-975 bottle pressure, tr-7 plugs (tr-8's depending on weather) 8 3/4 psi fuel 117 octain fuel in motor and spray, and 24* of timming

i have nothing to hide, and as a nitrous guy i would think you would understand that a nitrous car run on motor doesnt run right, hit it with spray, loosen the converter and she starts to work

PS. Vinny is a very trusted and respected (i use that term loose. lol) memebr on the boards, he was at my house when i put the jets into my car, and they have not been touched since. im sure he will vouch for me.

here is last weekends pass. 9.1 147 car hasnt been touched since.

Im not saying you are lying i just think you are missinformed of what jets are in it. i could send you a sheet that says the shiznity nitrous 100 shot is a single 110 jet but it would make a bit more than 100 to the wheels.

I understand what a nitrous car does on the motor. I own one

Pull the jets and post the size. what ever you say ill take it. Im just saying your car is making more than 100 with the jets in it.

im just going by what the NX chart says. it says 41/31 jets are 100 shot

thats what i run. i dont care if its a 500 shot, im going by what i ran last year to what i ran this year which is 2-3 tenths faster on motor, 2-3 tenths faster on the same 41/31 jets, so im happy

also for what its worth. i wouldnt think for 1 second im makeing much more then 100 hp, if you saw my car run on motor you would as well.

one race in the 9.50 class i sprayed the car out of the hole with "100" shot shut the spray off just befor the 1/8 car still went 9.21 @ 145 mph
yes, i broke out and yes i lost that race, but she wakes up HUGE with a little spray

Theres 4-5 guys in here with 9.0 cars or better telling you it takes more than 100 hp to get from 9.7 to 9.0.
BTW

A Nitrous jet size of .041" or 1.0414mm should produce:
151.83 HP with 2 port(s)
Actual HP to the wheels: 129.06 HP

I dunno the setup on Brad's car that well, but I know a 100 jet setting on my Nos plate took my 3500 lb car from 10.5 to 9.7, adding another 50 hp of jet only put it to 9.6 but the car went .1 slower in the 60 foot, so if that had stayed the same, probably would have seen 9.5 on the 150.

Will 100 knock the time off he's seeing? At my level it did, but I understand it's not a linear gain, so I don't really know.

ps, the guys telling me this info also have cars that run high 10's on motor and with 300+ run bottom 9's. my car is set up difrent and take nitrous difrent. but if it makes you feel better. its a 130 shot

That thing is rolling out on a 130 shot !!

Brad - your car rocks. No BS there. I think you ought to quit playing and really hit that with the gas to see what it will do.

The only reason I was adding my experience to the size hit is because the folks that don't know any better will wonder why their 100 shot sucks

BTW, I was 10.6 on motor and went 9.3 on a 26 jet. My junk sucked.

No doubt i wish our 150 shot worked that well. LOL

We definatly need 250 to get there. but id guess his solid roller 427 makes about 100 more than your 408 hyd. so the numbers are about right.
