Ashtray switch panel
I really want an ashtray switch panel like the ones from harris speed works but unfortunately, i ordered one and it was out of stock. Just wondering what are my other options, hoping to spend as little as possible one on, 30$ seems to be about the right price im willing to pay.
Any advice on how to make my own if i don't get ahold of one?

I doubt you will find one (with Switches) that retails for $30. Nitrous Outlet has some nice ones and of course HSW.
You could make your own for $30, I use laserable laminate for my panels, you can probably get some scraps from your local engraver or hit up Home depot for some plastic/plexiglass/Aluminum and cut one / paint one yourself, drill the holes for the switches etc...
Haven taken the time to measure stuff out for the C-5 and F-Body, to be honest $50-70 for a nice piece you drop in place is worth the cash if you take into account the time you will have to invest making your own.

Jimmy Jams has nothing on these beauties, lol. I love to post this pic, hehehe, same one as on my web site.
Oh yea Beer, found a use for my Acc switch, as I knew we would use it sooner or later, my new cut out switch. Not in yet, but thinks that's the use for the SW. I just love this when it's all lite up, and I have another small panel for the 3rd stage, a quick disconnect to a button on the steering wheel, but the 3rd stage is still activated vis the main panel. i will try to get a nice picture of all lite up and will post on new thread, hy-jack over.

I got one of those from HSW, they said it was a JimmyJams panel. I took mine to a grinder and took some of the edges off so it sits down in the tray and put two small strips of Velcro on it to hold it down and still be removable.

I have this from Nitro Dave's: http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2138
Except I had them add an extra switch for an opener. It fits nice and snug in the console and if you use that change holder that goes in there, the change carrier still fits on top of the switch panel and the console closes fine.
I would highly recommend this peice.

Our Ashtray switch panels litterly pop in place and are held in by the factory tabs. No double sided tape, no cutting just simply pop in. The switch panels are made of alluminum and annodized black with laser etching. Our ashtray switch panels are not the cheapest but you get your money worth.
You can find them here... They are in stock.

i got mine from nitrous outlet, very nice, I then got a factory style 6 way male and female connector and ran all my wiring to that. Then if i have to pull the console up i just have to unplug it. I got the one with the bottle opener and i dont have an opener, but i do have a qtp elec cutout and the 6 way opener switch works great for that.
