I just picked up a drum of 116 Oxygenated Race Fuel. Will i need to tune/change my direct port jetting to run this fuel. I noticed right off the bat that my fuel pressure had increased some because of of oxygen content in the fuel. Has anybody ran this fuel and what did you have to change if anything to run it.

OK, i guess nobody sprays with this fuel in the nitrous section. I'm will make some passes and report back. According to what I have read you can pick up some power using this fuel, but it is not an NHRA accepted fuel.

Thanks! I was going to richen it up, just did not know how much. The stuff I bought is very similar to Q16, but does not have the sky high price like the VP gas does.

 

You obviously have a fast car, but saying 5% is a little vague. I would not run it unless I retuned the car. I would start with adding atleast 15% more fuel and adjust accordingly. Or decrease the timing and work your way back up until the a/f is where it needs to be.

 

Did you guys finally get your motor squared away?

I would not reccomend just adding 5% then blasting it down the 1/4 like its all good.

If the fuel is Oxygenated with methonal watch the fuel solenoids. Check the pistons and see if they are starting to swell.
