Default Timing Tuner LED question...HELP!

I have all the wires hooked up correctly, as far as I know.

When I turn the key ON they both blink and then go off.

When I start the vehicle the green light comes on and stays on.

Is that right?

then I tried to program the upper RPM:

I adjusted the switches on the tuner.

I started the vehicle and the red light came on for about a second or so and then went off while the green light stayed lighted.

So does all this seem right to you?

For the gray do I go directly into the relay box or just hook into a wire? Can I just use a ground under the hood instead?

Oh ok so do I take the wire that is on the 85pin now off and just put the gray wire directly into the relay. So the gray wire will be the only wire coming out of the 85?

Nevermind. I think I got it. You just connect into the black wire that is coming out of the relay.

I have two relays. One came with the kit and one with the bottle heater. Does it matter which I connect into?

bottle heater doesnt fit in there!!! Gray wire to 85 pin, and white to 86, end of story. bottle heater is independant.

Ok. New problem. The tuner is supposed to act as a ground correct? Well I have everything hooked up but it is not acting as the ground. Does it have to be screwed to metal to work as ground or is there something else?

I get the alternating green/red lights.

If you have red and green light alternating then it is hooked up wrong.
The gray wire should be hooked to the 85 pin. That should be the only wire hooked to pin 85.
The box will provide ground once it get to your set rpm.
White wire goes to your arm wire. It just needs to see 12 volts when your system is armed so it knows when to ground the 85 pin.
Most people tie into the arm wire after the wot swtich.

Can I tie directly into the WOT arm wire. I have both wires on one connector then on the WOT switch.

My problem is I hook up the 85 pin and the other wire like said above. Then, I arm the kit with the key on, press the pedal WOT and there is no clicking of the solenoids.

Anybody have any ideas why it is not completing the ground?

I only get the blinking lights when I press the pedal all the way down.
