Default Should I run my STS kit or nitrous???

I bought a sts turbo kit and was about to build a 408 stroker, should I spray 175-200 shot or run the sts kit? I need to decide so I know what compression to run. Its not a dd just pretty much a weekend, track car. Please help me decide.

good luck on 175 shot that would be really really nasty maybe like 50 to 75 just to launch the car,but hey try it and video tape it would love to see 10 pounds and a 200 shot that bitch would skeet skeet

Leave on the jug and ramp the N20 back as the boost increases.

This is what I was going to say pretty much. Best of both worlds.

Running both is no problem. Build the car for Boost... The nitrous is just a pluss and compression will not matter for the nitrous you add.

Make sure you build a GOOD engine....and if you can, get the L92 (I believe thats the designation anyways) ARP Head Studs, accompanied by some thick deck heads.....

As they said, a 50-75 shot would help fix ANY lag issues you might find, with a larger turbo. Thats the way I went on my GN. I have a lil larger turbo, so there is a little lag initially....but I spray a 75 shot and cut 1.5 short times . Nitrous is like insta-boost on a turbo.....You could always put the NO2 on a hobb switch to cut off at like 5PSI or so.....Or, you could just be a badass, put an 88mm on it, and a 150 shot.

Well, its probably a bad idea...but I've got a GT45 and a nitrous kit awaiting install....either I'm gonna make a cool video with a fast pass.....or a cool video with a nice fireworks display

Go for both, even running a small shot will yield in large gains with a turbo. I will be throwing a 75 shot on my S85 turbo camaro, because 700rwhp isnt enough.
