I called a well known custom cam shop today. This is for the 370 that I am building with a turbo 400-tbrake, patriot stage three heads 64cc, stock 1.7 rockers, -2cc pistons, 300 shot, etc in a 99 camaro. Here is what the specs are that were given to me. 228/232 with 113 lobe 612 lift 360 lobe lift. Would like to have some feedback, I was hoping to maybe go with something that was a little more radical but wasnt sure if anything bigger than this would be to much for my setup. Thanks

You need something in the high 230's low 240's intake
high 240 low 250's exhaust .... 600's lift

I just noticed that you're gonna put a set of patriot heads on the car.... do yourself a favor, if this car is gonna see 300 hp of nitrous, don't waste your time with those junk heads. Get any aftermarket casting, any of them, ET, trickflow, edlebrock, afr, any of them. The deck thickness, and a good set of L-19 head studs will do wonders for the setup staying together.

I know I'm talking about another 2500 bucks, but believe me, if you want to hit it hard with nitrous, you will be glad you spent the $ up front, rather then melting something down because you tried to do something on the cheap.

Actually I should revise that comment, not to waste your time with those junk heads period.

I've seen cars get them installed and gain absolutely nothing over a stock head, I've seen valve guides drop, bad seals, the decks not flat, and consistant crappy performance gains, if any at all.

Hell a set of as cast trickflows or edlebrocks is a WAY better route to go and really no more $
