I would like a time estimate for my car. I have a 99 trans am with an slp lid, pacesetter 1 3/4 longtubes, egr/air deleted, tr6 plugs, msd wires, 3 inch custom y with 3 inch to the axel and a cutout, as well as all the free mods, except the p&p tb. circle d 3600 stall converter, and a transmission cooler, and lakewood control arms. I will be racing with 274/40/r17 micky tompson et street radials. My rear end is a detriot locker with moser axels geared a 3.42. I am planning on spraying a 75-125 dry shot off the line. What do you guys think i will hit?

I hit a 7.7 (12.0) with headers, 75shot, subframe connectors, MT Streets, and a tune. So my guess would be low to mid 11s for you with that stall...if you can get it to hook. I had huge problems with bogging on the stock stall.

hm. that sounds nice. i am either going to use hoosier drag radials or mt drag radials either at 12 psi. the mts are 275/40/17 and the hoosiers are 255/50/16

you will not hit mid 11 with out heads and cam. Weight of the car? I would say high 11s maybe 12 flat. watch your air fuel if you run a bigger shot. Do not go over a 100 shot if you have a stock fuel system and injectors. A buddy of mine did and KBOOM.... NO MORE #7 PISTON OR THE EXTRA RODS THAT WENT THRU THE BLOCK LOL ON YOUR D.R. TRY THEM AROUND 15 TO 18 Is where they hook better. They are not a slick. I had the same set my car and found out 17 lbs was best. GOOD LUCK
My guess would be high 11s also. I run my MT street (drag) radials at 22lbs. hot. The next time out I'm thinking of trying a couple of lbs more to see what happens. So far it dead hooks every time, but then again it's not exactly a high HP car.
Oh really? Funny, cause I'm on stock fuel system spraying a 150shot and have been through 10 bottles on the 150shot. If your tuner knows what he's doing you can do it.
Funny? Stock pumps are known to be a crap shoot. I'd rather not trust the factory piece when spraying. Why try pushing the stock one to see how far it will take you? To say you've done it?
Care to elaborate how your awesome tuner increases the reliability of a stock fuel pump? As for the seasoned veteran crack, I never made that claim but thanks for the praise

i race next week and i am still on a factory tune. i am trying to get a street tune from a buddy of mine because i dont have enough time to go do a dyno tune. the shift points are way off due to the higher stall
You have to jet it to run rich so that it doesnt' lean out so much on the top. That's a shitty way of doing something if ask me. I would rather not half *** it myself. After all a fuel pump kit is a whopping $250. Why even try it?
