help needed for stealth kit i have a cts-v w/ the ls6.
i'm looking for a safe setup that i could hide as much as possible. my goal isn't to keep anything secret from competition, it's just that if i get pulled over and the cop pops my hood, nothing will appear out of the ordinary.
i've read about the "money maker", but i really can't find any info about it. i've also read that plate kits seem to be the way to go...but i'm not sure that i can hide one! i'd love to be able to keep everything hidden under my engine cover, if possible.
i would like to avoid the choice of a backfire, so i was thinking a dry shot would be good for me - buuuuut, my intake tube would give my secret away.
oh, i plan on hiding the bottle in the trunk (in the spare tire tub)...aaand i'm only planning to run a 100-125 shot (w all necessary accessories).
this picture is of my engine bay (well, not mine exactly, but the same car...i dont have a pic of mine, so i stole this one).
please advise.

I don't care if anyone sees my system either however I wanted my install very clean. I loomed all the wiring so you don't see anything. I did not loom the 2 braided lines going to the plate. If I were to do so, you would see nothing.
i've learned if you black tape and wire loom everything, MOST people won't be any wiser to your set up and you can leave your hood popped all night.
even with blatantly obvious kits you can do this. Most people don't know what to look for.
If you REALLY want to go stealth, get the moneymaker.

yeah, nitrous is illegal if the bottle is hooked up...since i plan to keep it hooked up at all times and use an remote opener, it will technically be illegal for me to have it on the streets.
i got a huuuuuge ticket a few years back for simply having modified my intake tube! i just want to keep my engine looking as stock as possible in case a cop hears my exhaust and decides that he must take a look under my hood - which is what happened last time.
btw, i'm not sure anyone here referred to n2o as nos.

If you run a dry kit you can put the nozzle on teh bottom side of the intake tube and run the single line/solenoid anywhere you want. Noone's gonna see that, especially if ya put the line in some loom.
your car will look 100% stock under the hood, cops sure as **** won't see it.
i posted these pics on a HUGE mustang board and no one could find the system in the pics. maybe they just didn't care because I didn't hide it well at all, but if it's a foreign motor than you're used to looking at, you're just not going to see it unless it's jumping out at you (through NOS, NX, TNT and the like stickers)
all this had was black tape and wire loom and the solenoids out in the open.
the first pic is obvious as ****, and you could even hide that more by black taping over the nozzle (i didn't for ease of jet change) or just put thicker loom over the whole thing.
Easiest way for your car is to just put it in the bottom of the airbox, you could put the solenoid in there with the nozzle right off the solenoid I'd guess, then run the 2 wires out the bottom of the stock airbox with the feed line. Now you've got the whole thing, solenoid and nozzle inside the airbox. Probably not the mose effective way but it will work and noone's gonna see it that I'm sure of.
Some black shrink wrap or tubing around the feed line, and add a layer of sirink wrap around the wires to run them inside the car to a power source and a activation switch and you'd see absolutely nothing.

Yeah, JL is dead on. Just put the solenoid and nozzle in the air box. Simple to hide a dry kit. You will need to have it tuned of course. Plastic wiring loom conduit that you can buy at any auto parts store is great for hiding feed lines.

Making any system on your set up not as noticeble would be very easy to do..
As a FYI Dry systems have back fires as well.

If I were you, I would go with a dry nozzle and the Interface. You could put the nozzle on the bottom side of the intake tube, before the TB, by that band clamp. Nice, easy, stealth setup.
