Soft purge line??
Do I have to be picky due to pressure with attaching a soft line for the purge? Or will pretty much any tubing from the autoparts store work? Kind of doing something similar to the dynotune purge set up....
soft purge is fine if you are cheap like me. get a small piece of pipe with the right threads for the purge on it. looks horrible but works 100%. function over fashion when you don't have $ to **** and burn.
I think all that the auto parts stores would have that you can use is copper.

It may me nylon tubing.
I looked at that stuff. its identical to the tubing in the dynotune purge kits, but its only rated to like 55-70psi...hmmmm
Matt, I don't know if that Home Depot stuff will work but there is a hydraulic hose place called Cauliflower on Pulaski Highway in White Marsh that will have anything you ever need. Did I see you coming out of White Marsh mall around 5pm today? I was gonna call but didn't have my phone on me.

yeah that was me...I didnt see you. Had to drop off a tux....
you dont need anything rated 1200 psi. Its not like a main feed line that is under pressure. if the end of a purge line were sealed then yes you would need a material designed to handle that kind of psi. When it comes to purging its just an open line, so its not actually containing that kind of pressure. I would use something slightly rigid, we use flexible aluminum tubing in our kits.

If you want something a little better looking we introduced our purge systems a few years back with alluminum purge tubing. We flare the ends and put a B-nut and sleeve on it for rigid mounting. We sell this tubing seperatly.
It comes standard in 3ft however if you need it longer we can make it longer.

This is the same stuff I used forever. I've bought it from Ace hardware, TSC, Home Depot. It's cheap too. Make sure you don't buy the silicone stuff from Autozone.
I don't remember the exact size but I used a piece of hard brake line 6" long off the solenoid and then medium strength plastic air brake hose to the wiper cowel. The plastic line was about the diamater of a pen or pencil. This worked excellent and was great for the fast sneaky purge when sneekin on some one. The larger line dumps any air in a split second rather than the typical 3-5 second purge.
