Default TNT 125 Shot

OK, I've done the search but couldn't find an answer.

Since TNT doesn't make 125 shot jets, would it work using the nitrous and fuel jets for the 75 shot on one side and the 150 shot jets on the other? I can't see any reason why it wouldn't equal a 150 shot since the fuel and nitrous would be mixed by the time it reaches the intake.

Has anyone tried this?...and survived?

the TNT kit is a dual nozzle kit....if he used the jets you listed he would be spraying approximately a 250 shot?

The reason TNT does not list 125 HP jetting is the fact it would be 62.5HP in each nozzle. You need to keep the jetting the same in each nozzle as the flow will take the path of least resistance if you mix the jets. The smaller jetted nozzle will produce more resistance than the higher jetted nozzle and will give you inconsistent results.

This is just one of the reasons I don't like dual nozzle kits...they severely limit the jet choices you have.

Probably that their 100 shot jetting makes about 130 at the wheels

I have also never been a fan of the look of the dual nozzle kits.

Performance wise the HP option is the only difference

I hadn't thought of the resistance factor. So basically, the 75 jets wouldn't spray completely because most of the fuel and nitrous would be flowing to the 150 side? Makes sense.

as long as you realize you are spraying that much then you will be OK.....I had a customer that assured me he had the 150 jets in his plate kit, but the car was picking up around 270 HP. Tried explaining that he was spraying a 270 shot and he kept saying it was only a 150 shot.
