pulled my motor and tore it down to find!!!
this motor has 150-200 passes, 2 seasons sub 9 sec passes, lots of 8,000+ rpm runs etc etc etcand
my main and rod bearing dont have a mark on them!!!! everything is perfect!!!!all my rings are perfect, skirts are perfect, walls are perfect timming chain has a little slack but not more then expected.
im going to drop the block off next week to get cleaned up etc, i spoke to GRP, the recomend that if im going to spray it with 400 next year i buy new rods, so i will be selling my rods, other then that, new rings and bearings and im on my way.
my buddy lou helped me put together a good ******* motor!!!!



yes, alum rods, and its 99.5% race car, i may have put 100 miles on it on the street in the last 2 seasons

Shiz, everything looks mint, skirts have very minimal wear, you can see a little in 1 pic. and if you look in the big end you can see the bearings are PERFECT. i didnt get any pics of the mains, but i will try, as most know im lucky to get these pics up. lol
vin, i went threw just the ones i had in my center consol which started this season and i had 64. so id guess i have double that last year so 120-130 passes

I believe you it looks great. just alughing at guys who look at a rod and pisto top and ask about the oil .LOL
What coatings on the bearigs? looks like what we run
like a black crome look to them or a smoked black crome. i will be using the same bearings on the freshen up
