pulled my motor and tore it down to find!!! Perfection!!!!!!!!!!
this motor has 150-200 passes, 2 seasons sub 9 sec passes, lots of 8,000+ rpm runs etc etc etcand
my main and rod bearing dont have a mark on them!!!! everything is perfect!!!!all my rings are perfect, skirts are perfect, walls are perfect timming chain has a little slack but not more then expected.
im going to drop the block off next week to get cleaned up etc, i spoke to GRP, the recomend that if im going to spray it with 400 next year i buy new rods, so i will be selling my rods, other then that, new rings and bearings and im on my way.
my buddy lou helped me put together a good ******* motor!!!!

when this motor went together we checked everything, we went threw we set everything up perfect, bearing clearance etc etc, and it shows. ****, i could reuse the rod bearings if i wanted to they are PERFECT!!!heres a few pics, as you can see, rings and pistions are perfect, rods are mint, if you look at the bearing in the rod, you will see perfection!! the block looks like hell, its been in the car for 2 years. lol but look at everything else, and look at the crank its perfect. i will have it polished and call it a day. super happy everything looks this good, it should be a cheep freshen, and i will have the cash to do a vacum pump and a few other little things to help with going faster!!

yes, we checked and double checked everything and it pays.

its valvoline VR1 racing oil, i change it after every track outting.
Shiz, everything looks mint, skirts have very minimal wear, you can see a little in 1 pic. and if you look in the big end you can see the bearings are PERFECT. i didnt get any pics of the mains, but i will try, as most know im lucky to get these pics up. lol
vin, i went threw just the ones i had in my center consol which started this season and i had 64. so id guess i have double that last year so 120-130 passes

I believe you it looks great. just alughing at guys who look at a rod and pisto top and ask about the oil .LOL
What coatings on the bearigs? looks like what we run

they are teflon coated, they came that black/smoke color and there is very little to no wear on them at all.
i will be using the same bearings on the freshen up
