2000 Z28, MTI 382 (fully forged), AFR 225 heads, custom cam, FAST 90/90, Vigilante 3800 converter with a fully built 4L60 E, Nitrous Express 200 shot with NANO, all supporting mods. This car went low 10's when it was a 175 shot without the NANO. No new times with the NANO and the 200 shot. No dyno numbers.

The race would take place at a low MPH roll (10-20 MPH).

he should get you.. but you have a chance if you can drive.

 

Prob not. That LS1 car prob makes close to 700 on a 200shot.

 

I think he'll win as long as he has traction. Nitrous makes tramendis torque at low rpms.

I doubt that LS1 makes 700hp, you should have a solid shot since your car runs hard as ****.

Well lets put it this way, yes that ls1 is probably making 500 to 525 on motor, plus a 200 shot, yeah I would say its making 700rwhp. Anyway I think he might get ya, but you never know if he will hook up or not.

 

You will lose. The ONLY thing that gives you a chance is your 6-speed, being that you are running him from a roll. But still, he's got more than you do.

 

Car to car the LS1 would probably win, But driver to driver ,you just dont know .

that video was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! wow nice car dude! i think most people let off around 120ish, but 170 wow! you are insane and have a real sick car.

 

We were close, so we both stayed in it. By the end of the 1/4 I did have him both times, but as mentioned above, it was from a roll, and not a dig. If I had slicks, from a dig, I think he would still have me being a stalled auto, but I don't think it would be a huge win.

Niether one of us can hook without slicks on the street, so thats why the roll.

 

There is another that will soon be ready.

 

By all accounts it was one helluva race...both cars are bad!

I guess that depends on your idea of "lost". I was ahead of him the whole time in the first race (to 150). In the 2nd run, at the point of the 1/4 mile, I still was in the lead. It wasn't until way after the 1/4 mile that he pulled me. His top end was for sure stronger than mine, but it seemed my car was quicker down low and to the 1/4 mile (at least from a roll).

 

Keep with it D. Once you get the bugs worked out, and a tune, you will have yourself a monster!
