The original "Black Talons" aren't anything special. They weren't loaded hot at all, but the black colored bullet and the petal design made them infamous.
If you want good ammo based on the Talon bullet, find some Ranger Talon, which is the LE spec round. These aren't for show, so the case is silver and the bullet is copper jacketed, but it does expand into the 6-petal "talon" shape. 127grain, +p+. Probably the best 9mm defense round you can get.

I already have some of those preloaded for my "defense", I was looking for the Black Talons because of the casing more or less for the look...but thanx for your input!
