MOD Masters of Defense - Dieter CQD Mark II Dieter Automatic

Cost me $380 but they now sell for about $270.

The Mark II Stealth emphasizes ingenuity and craft. With state-of-the-art materials and a design that demands the most of a knife by an expert in defense, this knife brings all of the strength found in a large knife into a smaller, more compact size. A carbide window break dons the end of the handle, which has a Military Spec Hard Coat and Wing Walk inserts to ensure a secure grip. The pocket clip is hardened 301 stainless steel with a matte finish that can be attached to either side of the milled 6061-T6 aluminum handle for ambidextrous carry.

Knife Specs:
Blade: 3.33 in.
Overall Length: 7.95 in.
Length Closed: 4.62 in.

Gerber Model AR 3.00 with Black Teflon Coated Blade-Plain Edge

I paid $50 for this knife.

It is hard to believe that the same person who designed the Stallion and the Gator for Gerber has designed what they are calling the Gerber AR 3.00. However, I am assured by the people at Gerber, that this is the case. This knife, which has not been dignified with a name, is one of the neatest knives from Gerber in many years. If beauty, function, and value count for anything, this will be one of Gerber's very best sellers. Here is a knife with handles cast of the same air craft alloy that is being used in the finest bicycles. Rubber inserts are then molded into place, giving a great grip as well as good looks. The knife measures 4" closed with a 3" blade of AUS-8 at 57-59 Rc. This is an excellent stainless tool steel that has been pleasing knife buyers for years.

Puma - Handmade with Zytel handle and ceramic blade. Paid $180

This is not the correct picture, but it is similar. The entire knife is black and does not have any screws that stand out like in this modle. It is a lockback.
