I just installed my cam this weekend, and installed my 58 mm TB and found out it was a PART#112-505 93F/92-93 Y Body LT1 TB and of coarse I got lied to when buying it. I have a 95 LT1. I wish I could use it looks amasing. Looking to get 275 for it missing TB gasket and IAC gasket- box, instructions, TB, and Allen key bolts/washers included

What different between 93 compare to 95? I have a 95 can it be modified?

 

I installed it and when you push full throttle the blades only open 1/4 of the way and the cruise is to short to clip onto the retainer

if it can be modified I will be keeping it

why cant you run it?

 

I went to hook the throttle cables up and the gas pedal cable fits fine but at wide open throttle the blades only go 1/4 throttle. Plus the looks of things the cable is being bent at a 30*angle towards the cable bracket. The cruise cable doesn't reach at all but it is adjustable(the cable). I mean I don't wanna rig it to work I like things that fit the car nicely

of coarse if there is someone with a Holley 58mm TB that needs one for a 93 but has one for a 95 that will do too
