Was the car it came from running/driving at the time, so you could test the trans?

yes it was, but the setup was sold and picked up already. If you need a conversion I should be able to put together another one. You know me from the 3rd gen board, been on there for years.

Oh yes, I have seen you post a lot on a few boards, and I once corresponded with you here about an M6 LT1 Formula that I wanted to buy from you, but couldn't (wish I had!)

I just got my '95 Formula back on the road after being stuck in my garage for about 1.5 years. Sad thing is, the used A4 that I installed is not shifting properly, so it looks like I will need either to get an M6 setup or another A4.

You don't happen to want a set of thirdgen Ronal Firehawk wheels, do you?

No Ronal wheels, sorry.

I will look and see what I can sell, I need to keep enough around for my own cars.

Just keep me posted. I am going to need to make a decision soon, and have two other members here with T56 stuff that I am considering.

Definitely want a unit that is known good, though. Can't afford to roll the dice on a high miles trans of unknown condition. Would need everything but the clutch, which I will buy new anyway.

Ok, cool. I will probably already be set by then, but you never know.
