Typically, they are rated at around 400, but don't seem to have a problem with 500-550. It's probably been sitting a year to a year and a half.

Sorry, it will not fit an LT1.

It will fit a 70' Nova, however the shifter position may be slightly different and you might have to modify or replace the crossmember.
