SOLD
PM me with questions. Or your un-offical "DIBS". But It is a first come first serve basis. I will takes DIBS via PM, in consideration.
I have a used "OBD-II" tuning cable from AKM Electronics.
Quote from AKM: " 'Newer style', OBDII Connector - 16 Pin, "D"-Shaped, used on the following vehicles:
1995+ F-bodies, 1994+ Y-bodies, and all 1996+ GM Vehicles"
Quote from AKM: "Just remember, ALL of the AKM cables are for GM OBDI computers. They do NOT work on any true OBDII system, even though some use an OBDII *style* connector. If you've retrofit an OBDI system in to a OBDII car - we're good"
AKM sells OBD-II cables for $90 Shipped. This one is for the Serial Port, not the USB port. Cable is about 15' long. So it could be used with a desktop computer in a garage, for Tune reading / loading, and for scaning for codes, and clearing codes with datamaster, aka dataloging. Or for Tune reading, loading, dataloging, scaning for codes, and clearing codes. I need a USB port for my laptop. I thought about getting a Serial to USB adapter, but I also have 94's, and 95's I need to beable to hook-up to. So I got myself an AKM cable with both plugs on it.
No damage I can see, but I couldn't test it. It came with the 96 caprice I bought. Previous owner said he had no issue's with it.
