I pulled this motor from my 95 caprice, 9C1. It has about 130k on it. Had about 90k police duty. Car ran great, and I got it up to about 130mph on my drive home with it. I ran some auto-rx thru it on my drive home, and then drained it when I pulled the motor about 200 miles later.
Had no engine or trans problems(trans NOT for sale!!!), but had a huge, I mean BIG dent in the drivers rear door, way past repairing. So a parts car it became. When I pulled it out, I stuck it in my garage, and it has not moved since, that was about a month ago. Last time it ran was in the summer/fall of 2007. Ran perfectly. No smoke, no oil usage. Car was very powerful. WHen I picked the car up, I got a stack of matinace records, so it seams like the guy took care of it. It will need a new gasket where the oil pan, and the timing cover meet. Right now it has silicone slathered on the outside, I assume to stop an oil leak.
Not included:
Throttle body
Water pump
Opti + vent harness
Coil + ICM + wires
Power steering pump
Alternator
A/C compressor
Air Pump
Assy' Bracket
Air Pump bracket
Exhaust manifolds
Fuel Rails
Fuel Injectors
Coolent steam lines
EGR valve
Coolant hoses
It's a bare long block, with an Intake.
Included: Complete & Assembled
Block
heads
Rotating Assy-piston, rods etc
intake manifold
flexplate
oil pan
knock sensors
PCV system
Mounts on the engine side
Valve covers - that apear to be off a TBI motor. they were like that when the previous owner got it straight from the Police department.
I am located in South West Michigan. Right on lake Michigan, just south of the I-94/I-196 interchange. I'm about 45 miles north of South Bend Indiana, 30 miles north of the Indiana state line. 45 miles North East of Gary, IN.
Asking $500 - and I will help you load it on your trailer, truck bed, wagon trunk. I have a Big engine cherry picker I can use to help you load it. I have no engine stand. I have a junk 17" tire you could set it in, but I think an old 15" works the best.
I might consider offers. So if you can't swing $500, toss an offer at me. Worst I can do is say no.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Don't have a pic handy, but I will get some up once I figure my dam* camera out.
PM me!
