Does anyone know anything about S10 Blazer trannys ? It's a 97 with 4.3 engine, just turned 92k. Had a shift solenoid put in a while back, having strange issues. Hope the ****** isn't going out or my mod plans will get put on hold. POS

I think they are very similar to any other 4L60E. I have a problem with the 4L60E in my Camaro right now. It shifts really hard after being on the highway and it throws a trans component slipping code too. I had it looked at and it seems to be the torque converter as well as some other smaller parts but to get it fixed means almost a full rebuild. So I am waiting to see what happens.

Luckily the 4.3L has the same bell housing as a 350 so you can use a V-8 trans on it I believe unlike the smaller v-6s.

Mine is rpm up and down like 100 up 100 down back and forth, but only at a speed when there's barely any gas pedal. Just get in it very slightly and it stops. And sometimes on highway u try kicking in the passing gear and rpm goes up but no acceleration. All this only in over drive.
