I flagged one once that said it was a much nicer car than it was. It was a black cutlass and they were calling it a turbo GN. It didn't even have a turbo, plus they wanted the turbo pricing hahaha.

I go through Craigslist and see all of these novas that are 73 and newer with horrible bodies and a 305 and they want 4k for them. I think that should be a $500-1000 car. I bought my ventura for $500 10 years ago and it was a running and driving car with one dent in it.

Why is it up to you to decide what they should sell it for? If they don't get any bites on the car they'll either give up or lower the price eventually anyway. Some people are clueless but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have the chance to try their price. And if they do find a sucker out there then cudo's to them.

What I really hate though is seeing the same ad placed like 500 times for the same ******* car!! That alone would make me not want to buy their car just on principle lol... I was searching for some parts for my Tahoe the other day and found a ad for a 2003 Tahoe for parts (wrecking yard), the guy places the ad like every 4 hours!! C'mon? Really? Chances are that if someone really needs parts for a Tahoe they will search for it and it will still come up, even if the ad is 4 days old lol....

I just think it's unfair to everyone out there who wants a classic. Or any car for that matter when you scroll through Craigslist getting ready to sell a car your like I wanted 2 grand for my car but that pile on there is going for 4 grand and mine is way nicer so I will price mine at 5k. So the buyer is getting a $2000 car for 5 grand because some people try to get more out of a junker than its worth.

I flag people that put the entire English dictionary at the bottom of the post as key words, that **** drives me nuts. Your 92 accord should not come up when I search for Camaro UNLESS you want to trade for one, but even that is a stretch IMO.

Its all supply and demand my friend. I would never flag someone elses post just because I thought the price was too high. I priced my GTI about 1500.00 over top retail because Im not in a position where I had to sell, and because I think its hard to find some cars that are over 10 years old that arent thrashed and/or have a million miles on them. My 02 GTI is pristine and only has 87k miles so I priced it accordingly. If I knew someone was flagging my ad because they thought it was too high I'd be pissed. I just took a deposit on the car and Im getting 1000.00 over top retail. Maybe Im a crook lol?

Cmon Ponch, I thought you were in the game bro! **** I have made more than I should have on all my fbodies I have bought and sold but like Mike is saying there is a buyer for every car out there and so someone the value might be there to pay that higher price for a certain car. Cars are a big $ game!!
