Yes, the new Chromoly driveshaft will take care of the last week link in the drivetrain, except for the clutch lol....

Haha, you didn't ask but Brandon did way back in post # 23 or something lol..

I have a personal goal of 11.2 @ 122-124mph or so this year. But,,, I'd be pretty happy with anything quicker than an 11.5, which is what I can legally run at the track without a rollbar. The car still needs a ton of work before I'll get there, mostly dialing in the suspension and EFI tuning. I'm really anxious to see what those hand ported L92 heads will do power-wise, even if it is through the power robbing 9" and smallish 1-3/4" headers WITH cats lol.

What about you? When's your car going under the "knife"? LOL...

Any way that's cool just got to be safe. Boat racing is the most dangerous sport, and i'm sure a sbc in boat can get a little hairy also.
hahha that is a very true statment i cant count how many times things got outta hand in my old 78 sleekcraft rebel drag boat "miss behavin" had a built chrysler 383 bassett headers loader grate you start flying at 70 on the water and hit some chop? lol hold the F%ck on lol bugs hitting your face at that speed hurt like a bitch too lol..lol i wish i wouldnt have sold my v-dirve also that was a 100 mph boat.. but i got tired of the hull up resto..and sold it it was a one of a kind old k boat that raced in the 70's i found in santarosa cali and rebuilt the ford 427 and ended up havin the boat all done minus steering cable and interior lol i liked my paint scheme i layed down on her too.

Anyone that says driving a Z06 is for old folks needs a good nut kicking. More older folks drive them obviously because of the cost factor. One will be sitting in my garage at some point...probably when I'm older lol

Exactly! That's why they got the stigma of being a "mid life crisis" machine. LOL.... I'd still roll one though haha....
