Vid link no worky for me either, I just quoted someone for a 500cid as well. ERL 482cid for boost and 500 for n/a and n2o.

Sucks about the car issues, didn't you and Cody just do a heads cam swap on it?

Hey man, I know how that **** goes, so don't feel bad about your reaction. I would have been the same way. As for your car, I'm guessing it's a head gasket. Don't worry man, it'll be up and running again in no time....

I hope it's just that. Yeah so I get home tonight and my daughter and I are playing out front and she hits a ball into my storm drain coming from the house and it's stuck in there now. Then we try and get it out with a tool of mine and the tool snaps in half. Then to end the evening before we go in she decides she wants to box with me in the grass and she full on punches me in the left nut. I called it a night after that because I'm pretty sure the next airplane to fly over was due to land on me. Oh and it cost me $35 to get my car towed home All I can do is laugh right now...or cry. Wait did that when my nut sack exploded.

Damn dude, whatever you do, don't book a flight, or ride in a train, or go anywhere lol.... Just sit in your chair and watch tv, but not too close in case it explodes on you. LOL....

Man, 35.00 for a tow isn't that bad. I had to pay 180.00 to get my GTI towed on a flatbed from Woodburn dragstrip to a shop in Hillsboro 2 years ago. Damn clutch slave cylinder went out and I was still living in my apartment at the time and didn't have a garage to work on it. $1100.00 later I had my car back. The sad thing is, I was a spectator at Woodburn, not racing.

I have towing insurance so that helped out. LMAO about the TV exploding in my face. I'm surprised I didn't choke on that taco I was eating at lunch today.

I got to drive my car today.

Just around the neighborhood though. I needed to test the brake system, checking for leaks, pedal pressure etc. The car has ALOT more traction now. Those LCA relocation brackets have worked miracles. Used to be able to breath on the gas and turn the tires. Not anymore lol... Here's a few things I noticed during my short drive with the t-tops off:

-I really miss driving my car!!
-I need new power window motors so I can roll down the windows. LOL...
-Detroit Lockers are obnoxious, but kinda cool at the same time. The popping/clicking around corners turns peoples heads like they're saying... wtf?
-I need to re-bleed my clutch master cylinder hydraulics. F*(kin thing sticks to the floor when shifing quickly.
-The QP rearend feels very solid. Hard to describe, but it just has a feel of being "indestructo"... Very planted and quiet.
-Gears turned out pretty quiet too. I'm surprised being they're used gears. A little bit of whine on decel, but nothing major.
-I'm really diggin' the 3.89 gears. Did a 2nd gear pull to redline down cascade parkway and let's just say it brought a very big smile to my face!!
-My car needs some serious drivability tuning now. Bucking along in 1st gear is not cool!!
-I need updated license tags (four years worth to be exact) and insurance!
-I can't seem to wipe this grin off my face!

That is all I can think of at the momentl.

I think the word is PERMA-GRIN. LOL... it was very fun but in a bitter-sweet kinda way. I loved the drive, but it also showed me how much work is left to do haha... It'll get there, and this just gave the inspiration needed to do it.

Perma-grins are always fun! It's a never ending thing with our cars. Can't wait to ride in yours after it's complete.
