I wasn't talking about me Aaron. I'm no idiot, your car still has mine covered. I was talking about your camaro vs KT's Nova....which will easily smoke mine. But I'd like to see it run, so I'm just talking smack to get Kurtis to show up. I want to have some fun this year.

But there are 2 Camaros in my cross hairs that I feel I DO have a shot at beating - a blue 1 & a silver 1.

I have made the offer before!!! I just think he's scared to let someone else drive his car faster than he can.

Just curious as to where a Duramax fits into this discussion??? Not that I have a fast one, but I know of a couple people that do. They are fuel injected GM V8's so by definition they should be allowed if they are on this site and participate in discussions in this section.

I think Arron had the fastest tow rigg. Went low 13 something then towed his car home. I needa dependable rigg so mine just runs low 15s

I think it will be great having more fast cars on the list. If we really think about it, the LSx platform is just a small percentage of the GM line-up. More motor options mean more guys active and particapating in our tech group/community.

So I think Russ has the changes down to:
1- Any tire (we should have done this a long time ago, lol)
2- Lic Street/Strip cars only (no dedicated race cars)
3- GM Products only (otherwise we would have allow Hondas and that ilk, lol)

I think they are great changes and agree with all three. Now we will get to see Kurtis's Nova and a few other super fast street cars. It's only going to get better with these changes.

Does anyone know the opening day for any track yet? Not amking it out last year has got me real excited and ready to go.

Don, I believe in the sprit of what the vast majority here are into and doing, is the Street/Strip realm. Hell there are dozens of dedicated race forums for the full on track only guys. So, IMO, it should stay street/strip cars. I would love to see what some of these guys are pushing for the street class. If I want to see what the race cars are up to then i head over to YellowBullet.

I have thought about stripping the car & pulleying it down to see if I could make it run 8s. But then I wouldn't be able to do anything with it BUT race. And that doesn't interest me. So I'll just have to whoop your slow a$$ with my barge.

Hey, when we gonna finish tuning it buddy?

You guys can stop by next Saturday. I'm having a Camaro Club tech session at my house and we're going to swap a couple of transmissions, drink beer and eat pizza. There is going to be at least one blown LS1 here too.

As a matter of fact, anyone is welcome to stop by and lend a hand. PM me for the address.

I know the feeling - I'm 5 weeks in San Jose, but at least I can come home on the weekends without burning up a day each way.

BTW - record heat here today - sunny and 72!

I'll try and get up there. I don't know what the wife has planned yet. The retirement thing has got me running like crazy. I did get to spend three weeks in Germany eating and drinking too much so that was cool. Of course we went there looking for a white Christmas and it didn't snow at all and it snowed like hell here.
