Default Just finished the 9" install...

I went from 3.73 with a powertrax locker to a ford 9" with 4.11's and a detroit locker. The car seems fasters, any idea how much of an improvement it would make in the 1/4? mods are in sig, car weighs 3480 w/ driver.

anyone with a 3rd gen looking for a powertrax locker w/ 3.73 gears?

Hard to say, but 4.11s seem to work very well with 6 sp cars. Put some sticky tires on it & you might see a few tenths...

Nice!

It will all depend on the hook. I have seen guys go from 2.0 60fts on 3.42 to 2.8 60ft on 4.11s. Or 1.8s on 4.11s

not sure what the axel lengths are, i know one is longer than the other, but the housing is the same size as my stock 10 bolt (not narrowed)

i have some ET streets for sale in the NW classified section. I ran them a few times on my vette and they were good for 1.7 60s. Probably much faster, but I don't think my car (or maybe the driver) had it in em to go faster
