Default Exhaust got quieter

So I was driving down the road and notice my car sounded more quite then normal, I was low on oil so I pick up some and put a quart in, dont know if that would have anything to do with it, but it still was the same . Then I got out of my car and notice a little knocking coming from the bottom end, and its not a low knock like a rod or anything it's more of higher pitch then that, kind of like a hard ticking noise. If anybody has any ideas on what would cause my car to get quieter PLZ let me know. and there is no exhaust leaks

Thanks!!

LOL I wish bro but this is serious it almost sounds like a lifter but on the bottom end not the top and when I go under a bridge or over pass I get on it and i can hear the sound of the exhaust crackling.

Do you have cats? If so you could have a clogged one. Does it feel like you are losing power? Only reason I say cats is because the sound changed so I would think less flow.

Sounds like a needle bearing might have let go on one of your rockers. Pull a valve cover and check for loose feeling rockers or a bunch of needle bearings along the cylinder head. Could be a lifter too, but I'd suspect a rocker before that. The LS1 rockers are notorious for it.

Good luck man, and sorry to hear about that.

Me personally bro, I would save up some cash and freshen up that motor being it's a daily driver and it has high miles. It probably needs a good look over.

You should be able to. If not I have two extra ones still in the GM wrap. I ordered new center bolt valve covers and they came with them already...lol

Let me know if you need one. If you do PM me on here or the nation because I don't spend alot of time here.
