Moving to Oregon, few questions

That picture was in the morning in July, about four years ago I think, at the Sunset Beach access in Gearhart by the country club. It is the only access that is maintained enough to drive a low car on. I just drove down to take a few photos and then left. If it were clam digging season there might be a couple hundred cars and trucks and several thousand people in the background of the picture. There were a few people out walking their dogs and stuff, I wasn't alone on the beach. But I thought it was pretty nice to get a picture as if I were alone there.
I have never taken the car on the beach since then. But I take the wife's truck on this stretch of beach. I think there is about 20 miles that you can drive on from the south jetty at Ft. Stevens to Seaside. That is Tillamook Head in the background, Seaside would be at the base of the hill on this side and on the other side of Tillamook Head is Ecola Park and Cannon Beach.
Yeah, Cannon Beach is retired hippy town. Seaside is tourist Mecca. But compared to the East coast our beaches are practically deserted.

I have been out here visiting since tuesday, man you guys need to step it up!! I have been from Portland to Medford and everywhere in between and for every 1 fbod I see, I see 50 mustangs!! In Eugene now leaving for Florence and Newport for this weekend, if and when I love out here I am going to have to bring my gold bird!
