Default going to paint my hood

Here is two pics of how i want to paint my hood.
the first one is mine. I like how the white goes all the down to the bottom of the hood and you can see how I brought the black into the fender to flow with the mirrors.

the second one is my dads and this was the first day i bought the car

which one you guys like better??

To be brutally honest bro I think both look terrible. Way too ricer for my taste. If anything, just paint the top of the air intake black. Kinda like Tylerls1 did. Sorry if I burst your bubble.

Ya that might be overkill dude now that I saw bigger pics. I would just paint the stinger if I was gonnna bring any black into the hood. Just my 2 cents though and its your car

Yeah, I mean if you want honest answers, I'll also say both options look pretty poopy. Take it or leave it

Good luck with whatever you do, though!

painting the hood like that is just the oposite of doing a manta stripe like tyler has. i dont see many cars with the manta stripe i say do that instead. or you can do like i did and get a hoodscoop filler.

Maybe it would be one of those thing that grew on you in the long run. Thanks again for the input, Trust me I'm not taking this in any kind of way personal. If I was going to get mad then I would of never posted it! That's what we are here for, to give advice and to here everyones input.

thanks again.

I don't think it's that bad. It's your car man, do what makes you happy and makes you want to drive it.

FWIW, muscle cars had black hoods WAAAAAAAAAY before ricers. So really, it's a homage to muscle cars, not ricers.......

Dam whip your car is lookin good!! I like your hood that looks sick! The other hood thing I like is the 35th anniversary stripes that turn into checkered flags.

ya i was looking at your corners too, i had those same exact corners and your right they do nothing but leak and burn bulbs. i used to change a bulb once a week, i did this quite a few times and decided to put the ambers back on.

I was goin to get those lights also but since you guys say they leak I probably won't now.lol.
And I was thinking about all black, just thought leaving the white on top would make it pop alittle.
