Yeah, a big word to the fact that drag radials are more boxy than the bubbly slicks. Especially since drag radials usually have a shorter sidewall. Your sidewall is what, 60mm? I'm looking at some drag radials with a sidewall of 35mm, specifically the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial in 345/35-18 for the rear and 305/35-18 for the front.

It doesn't look like you have rolled your fenders, have you had any problems with that?

I just used a pneaumatic body saw and trimmed back the inner fender lip. No problems at all with clearance. Even as low as it was before with the tires tucked up into the fender it still had at least 3/8" clearance. If you trim it like I did, just make sure you don't trim out all the spot welds so that they still hold the inner/outer wheel wells together.

Who's in charge of running this cruise to the lake? My girlfriend and I might try and make it out there being we have never been and would like to see it at least once before we die.

Why did you trim them as opposed to roll them?

I assume that the OP, 02sslayer, is the organizer. However, 98goldz28 has been the one calling the hotel and getting things lined up so I'm not sure which one is the main man.

Whoever the head honcho may be I was thinking that they should post this up in the Western Members section since Cali and Nevada are relatively close to Klamath Falls.

How you planning on driving up there? If you end up taking I-5 hit me up!

I didn't have access to a fender roller at the time and didn't want to risk chipping the paint. I trimmed them way back in 1999 to fit some 17x11 ZR1 wheels in the back lol...

98goldz28 is the one running the show for the cruise.

Driving for sure. Just got a few minor things hashed out on the car so it's in tip top shape. If we make it I would like having someone to make the drive with other then the misses.

Causing paint problems is the main think I'm worried about. At least I have another option to think about; trimming and rolling.

Sounds good, like I said, once you decide just hit me up and let me know either way. It would be nice not having to roll solo all the way to Klamath Falls. I wish all of my friends didn't own crappy imports, if they had something classy I would invite them to roll out with us.

I'll be there for sure, I've just gotta call up the hotel tomorrow to reserve my room. I look forward to meeting you and everybody else too. I'm admittedly a little nervous, this is my first internet based get-together. Your WS.6, judging by your sig, looks like one badass ride!

All the info for the hotel is in the first post on the Nation as well.

I look forward to meeting everyone.

I'll post up tomorrow letting you know once I've reserved my room.

First a pizza eating contest and then a cannon ball contest! Oh, I'm gonna have to bring a video camera!

I would love to try it out...but I'm actually saving my pennies up for a EPS cam and a Fast Intake.
