Default Woodburn Drags, anyone in?

Looks like tomorrow I can finally make it to the track and run my car, however as of now the weather is not looking so good. If the weather decides to hold off I will be going to woodburn tomorrow for the street legal drags, their plan time is 3pm-9pm (or dark).

If the weather stays nice is anyone else in?

Its all good man, i know how that goes it seems like my schedule never works with everyones elses, congrats on this last weekend man. I think that would be a lot of fun but my car is not going to be consistant with me driving, I have lots of learning to do yet. I just want to go to have fun and practice.

I just looked at the weather and it looks like it is going to be raining hard tomorrow so not likely that it will hold off enough to race.

Yea man same to you, it was nice to meet you. I want to check out your car sometime. No worries about taking off, sorry I didnt talk much, at first trying to get my girlfriend directed in and then was wanting to do more runs try to get some practice in, I need it thats for sure, but then again it was the first time at the track with the 6 speed car, entire different game.

I will have to look at my time slip tomorrow to make sure but i think the best was like 13.46 at 107.6. Lot left in the car, my 60 foot is terrible, was playing with tire pressure and launch techniques and battling the hydrallic issues. It was awesome no one was there so you could pretty much hot lap as much as you wanted to. It seemed like 26 psi was working good, very small burnout would help but was having all kinds of hydrallic issues with the clutch, drill mod here we come, if that doesnt help prob go to the tick, (could also be pressure plate though, will be doing some more research,) clutch stick to floor not fun. I would pretty much do it every time after going to 4th if i did a burnout it would do it going to 3rd and would not shift.

My buddy with the TBSS ended up doing like 13.8s and the friend with the white mustang went 13.9s. At the end we started doing some dial times, was lots of fun. Sorry for the long post, looking forward to going again.

That's what's fun about m6's, it's more of challenge to be more consistant then an A4. Not to talk **** but I just hate to gas and go. It's no fun to me.

I'm getting a tune eathier today or tomorrow so I'll be out there next Friday for sure if the weather holds up.

Is your car bone stock?

Unfortunately, that sounds like a pressure plate issue, not hydraulics. I had the same thing happen last year before I bought the Monster clutch. Would drive fine under normal conditions, except under high rpm it would stick to the floor for about 4-5 seconds until the rpms came back down. I probably bled that sucker about 20 times using various methods. Replaced clutch and it was fixed the very first time I bled it.

Yea, I am kind of afraid of that being the case. Did you happen to do the infamous drill mod? I might try this before anything else.

My car is stock with exception of sfc, pro 5.0 and it has a K&N that the previous owner installed.
