Salemetro aka James broke a cv joint in the miata first pass.

It looked like rain to me so the nova stayed home.

My buddy Tim ran 11.45 @ 127 on spray in his ls2 c5 and got booted.

Your buddies C5 was fun to watch! I figured he got the boot after that run.

No it's stock height. I have 18/19 rims vs stock 17/18, not sure if that's a factor here... it actually felt pretty good as far as load transfer, but it was my first outing in the vette. I think I can drop my 60ft to 1.9 with better throttle control off the line, just got to find her sweet spot.

The axles in the car currently were $650.00 from Dutchman, but inner and outer CV's were pretty-much OEM 8.8 stuff. I'm trying to retain use of the Dutchman axles, but it just might not be possible....in which case, it's 8.8 time and $2k in DSS axles. We'll see though.
My buddy had to do the 8.8 swap in his rx7 with dss axles cause everytime he went out It broke diff or axle.

He was running a BABY shot with it running rich. 127 considering it was the only time he had sprayed it and immediately got the boot isnt bad. Also the large tires, he needs more powa.

Yeah, I was hoping to save a few $$$ by retaining use of the Dutchman bars, but it looks like it's going to have to be all new. So, I'm ordering their "900hp" setup and a WaveTrac for the 8.8....should prevent any future issues, and allow for some extra "go" in the future. 3-week build time for the axles kinda sucks though...

Yeah that guy who was driving the zl1 was the same guy who was driving a 14 camaro ss last time and I beat him back to back last time so he traded in the ss for the zl1.. I was just having a hard time concentrating last night. My head was not in it.. I bogged every single launch and spun 2nd nearly every time. Oh well, still fun!

If I had known you were there Friday I would have introduced myself. Would have liked to check out the Nova also. How's it been performing for you?

Hey Mike,

I was just dialing the fuel curve. That was actually the first time I got it to full throttle. All 3-4 seconds of it.
With street rubber.
It didn't blow up! So that was good.

I've never made that show but this year I am going to try (probably with some folks from Sherwood). I think we'll be going to A&M customs after for their open house.
