I'm just saying there is a couple of threads out there that say he gets 30 or so whp out of a ported fast intake.. But the none ported fast gains 20-25whp over a LS6... Just look around and see if he actually getting 20-30whp over a none ported fast, if so awesome!!! But if not then not worth it if you know what I mean.. Just trying to save you money buddy that's all
but hey, im glad there are actually people looking out for my best interest. i dont wana spend 750$ on an electric water pump for 10-14 hp either but im going to. the thing is i am selling a ton of **** so it almost feels like im not even paying for anyof this. i will return my fast 92 sell my fast 90 ls6 heads and cam. plus im selling my dirtbike for 2500$, its almost like im trading some **** for car parts

Lol I was going to go with the electric water pump but you only get a certain amount of hours out of them.. Your stock water pump will be just fine..if you were only drag racing it and pushing close to a 1,000whp then I would consider it.. Do
Some research on how many hours you get out of them also..

BTW, i need your guys opinion...this weekend i am putting round one of parts on the car, cam, lifters, fuel pump. i am planning on installing the clutch and flywheel as well, but do you guys think maybe i should wait to install the clutch till after the tune? i figured since it has a H/C tune allready i could put the 500 miles on it real quick( reaL quick...i know lol) before i take it in. what do yall think i should do....install before or after tune?

Get it done while it's down! You won't want to tear it apart after just getting it running, but if you're changing to larger injectors with the new setup get the injector tables changed first. If your tune is too far off and you know someone with HP tuners I could send you my SD tune to copy over the tables and get you very close so you can get a few miles on it before flogging it on the dyno.

How far away is your tuner? Maybe he could cut you a deal on doing a baseline tune to get you up and running then a WOT tune once you're clutch is good to go. It's a bit more work, but the WOT part is easy compared to the drivability.
He'd have to see the car twice, but it's a guaranteed second visit from you to get the WOT fueling/timing dialed in. Then you'd also have a bit of time to find the tune issues like a hanging idle or surge at xxxx rpm.

So when do you think you'll get the funds for a rear on this beast? Think you could get to Woodburn? My wife has family near Portland and Oregon has some breweries I need to sample some goods at... Not to mention I'd really like to see what my car can do in some real air, stock cars here are 13.7 to 14.0 flat, and I was a best of 12.86@109 with a full bolt on car and one of the early LS1 comp baby cams. I can almost smell a road trip for some drag racing, beer drinking, and maybe some sh*t talking... :-)
