Definitely need the 28" tire. I had 26" tires and had to hit 5th each time.

F-body.org/gears

^I can't even tell you how many times I have researched different set-ups on that. Hell on nitrous you will probably need 29's

I'd get the car to the track before you waste money on a tire size you may or may not need. Let the car tell you what it needs.

I'll be doing a 250shot.

Yeah I'll be going to the track once it's in..but tires are pretty bald right now so I'll be needing new ones quick.

Dont know what you make on motor or how light your car is but with a 250 hit I can guaruntee you will need bigger than a 26" tire. Dont need to waste time at the track letting the car 'tell you' that your **** doesnt have enough gear. :p

By the time he gets his tune ready for a 250 shot, I will guarantee you that he will be done with one set of new tires and ready for another set. I think he told me his current tires are 27". Besides that, it would be cheaper for him to switch out rear end gears at that point anyway. You either have to dial the car in for N/A and sacrifice a compromise on the bottle, or vice versa. There is no perfect gear set/tire combo for both N/A and on the bottle.

I understand all that. I was talking about dialing the car in for nitrous. If he is going to run it with spray then no reason to dial it in for NA aka slow mode. :p

It's full weight..and I'm just on stock height tires right now..what ever that is..lol..but yes it'll be tuned up to the 250 one step at a time..I'll go out with the 100 shot and get a feel for how hard it hits and work my way up to the the 250.
