New build for 2015
Some of you may remember my old single turbo bronze car from PIR

Been working hard on the below car the last two months. Just finished the suspension tonight and got the intercooler in it today. Suspension is full coil over conversion from Ridetech. Very happy with their quality. I still have the fuel side to install and the EFI. The back end is still a tad high as it has a 30" tall tire on it that will be coming off the car to be replaced with 275/60 Mickey. If anybody wants some 295/65's, just let me know
I still may put a 1" lower spring in the back. This is not a track only car, I will be driving the **** out of it. After buying it, I yarded the manual steering out of it and put in a newer jeep power steering box to make it a little nicer to drive. For the car itself, I did not build it and purchased it last July out of Las Vegas. It is a factory SS car that had a full rotisserie done on it about 10 years ago and had a Shafiroff 540 in it. That was sold off within a few weeks of getting the car for the purpose of doing the below conversion
Thanks for looking,
Corey

ET goals are dependent on the fuel I'll end up running. If I stick with my original plan on E85, I'd expect low 9's without struggling.
I rolled the dice on a used long block that ended up being a screwed up deal. Worked out the money side and moved forward. It's a stock crank LQ9 with Eagle rods and Diamond pistons, AFR 230 heads, and a decent size turbo cam. The turbos are Borg Warner 66mm using flipped truck manifolds.
There are far more proven single LS car out there and only a handful of twin S366 cars, but so far what I've seen is pretty promising for power. My main reason for doing twins is to easily package 3" exhaust out the back.

very nice cars man.
I'm doing a carb'd L-33 with Texas Speed heads and bunch of goodies to go into my 66 Malibu.
This is the engine:
That pan will be swapped out before install.
My end goal is to build a single turbo LS engine for it.
I have an LQ4 short block, 317 heads, and a Victor Jr. carb only intake.
I'm near Spokane FWIW.
Thank you Sir,
Stu
Skylark, the box to use is 92-98 Grand Cherokee box. It's a direct bolt in. If you currently have power steering, your pitman arm will work. The rag joint is different. You can get them from lee-powersteering.com
For lines, I put AN fittings on my power steering pump and box and just made my own -6 line with AN fittings. Solves any issue trying to find an odd ball power steering line. Detroit Speed sells the fittings. I'd be happy to share photos if needed.
Thanks,
Corey
Yes, I sold it at the end of 2009....big mistake.
My real mistake was going out to the track last June and watch Ron, and in doing so, another buddy was tuning on his BBC turbo Camaro. The bug bit me again, real hard. I called the buyers of my car to try and buy it back, and would have paid what ever. It didn't work out, so I decided to build a better one

There are quite a few turbo cars running around here now, so coming down to play would be great fun.
so everyone knows what we are talking about...
Have you started a thread on yellowbullet yet?
