Yeah, so, back in '02 they quit production right when I was senior in college... had no money anyway but still hurt. That and Sept. 11 pretty much made it the worst year of my life. BUT I soldiered on.

Finally, bought an LS car a few weeks ago. '00 with 70k on the odometer and not raped. Only mod is LS6 intake and EGR delete. T-56 car. Silver SS. Beyond happy.

Future mods are coming but most importantly is connecting to other 4th gen folks in the area.

Don't have a lot of spare time but willing to make the most of it with some like minded peoples.

Hit me up if you are in the PDX area or know some cruise spots for a bite and a beer.

Future mods will be basic bolt ons... cam, lifters, long tubes, exhaust, clutch. Not sure on heads... might get a pair of 243s but not married to the idea.

 

Post some pics of the car! Planning on doing any track time with it?

Charlie, no. No track time. Idea is just a weekend bruiser... as long it can hang with the latest gen 5.0 stangs and Camaro SS... that's all I am after.

Pics will come this weekend. Working in some wet sanding on the hood and removing some buffer holograms throughout from a cheap detail job by the previous owner inbetween my business' projects.
