Default Shaner S3 TB

Just ordered a Shaner S3. Anyone using it? I'll post a review as soon as I get to test it.

I think everyone here is a Janzter or BRE user. And then some of us have no TB at all. You might be the first Shaner.

I love it. All I have to say is WOW. I got to install it in less than 20 minutes in the morning, before firing it up for the first time.

After the install, when I first turned the engine on, there was a huge difference in intake noise -- a high pitched hiss that sounded awesome. It went away after the engine warmed up.

So I go for a spin very slowly, just to let the car adapt to the new change. Well, no need for that for too long.

The throttle response was improved beyond my expectations. And I did a WOT pull in 3rd gear and the SOTP factor is just awesome!

I know, it's hard to believe that just a TB swap could yield any gains, but again I'm sure in terms of numbers the improvement is just marginal. But since the TB blade opens up faster than before, my right foot is so much happier now. Highly recommended mod, just be patient when ordering, Mark Shaner is a busy man and he has some health issues he has to take care of once in a while.... it's worth the wait.

Mine has been ordered for 2 weeks. Nothing yet. He is a textbook nice guy.

I hope to get some improvement in ET or trap, even if 1/2 a mph or .050 in ET.

Default Shaner 2 or 3?

Do someone can tell me the differences between a Shaner 2 and the 3? First and second edition (upgrade from the 2 one)?
