I was looking at that 10 minutes ago Sometimes I start thinking that maybe I could swing something like that if I really tried .... and then I wonder how I'd feel if I scattered it all over the Hwy in Battle Mtn. open road racing ?? Maybe I should hold off for a while longer ?

OHHH that is just Drool material, especially if you had the money to just ship it and have it shipped back... Better go buy some lottery tickets...

I'm with you Bill. How would you feel if you did that.....just like the M&M car & it's brand-spankin-new 502 motor?!

And I'm with you too Bobby. I'd LOVE one!

But at least you got yours Todd. I'm still waiting for my pillar pod & gauges that the wife ordered in mid Nov.

$15-20k for a 500+ rwhp motor???? Seems a lil steep. A blown LS1/6 w/decent heads and blower cam should do that for a LOT less. My buddy's '02 WS6 w/ATI makes 468 rwhp with just long tubes and bolt ons......Not that I would kick that motor out of my engine bay or anything silly like that....I am just saying.

True, bang-for-the-buck aint there. Todd made 471 with his ATI @ 4lbs of boost. And I plan to hit the 450 area with just heads & cam some day. I guess it's the alure of a big-cube drop-in motor....and 427 sounds SEXY!

Yeah, I believe he had the "6 lb pulley" on the car, but it was only making 4 lbs. Probably due to his Weiand intake manifold & it's larger runners.

I don't know about Forced induction but 450rwhp in a H\C car is ALOT different than 450rwhp in a big cube motor......
