I am sure we have all seen the white Camaro SS that WSP is using as its high speed pursuit car (and can we really blame them for their chioce?) but on my way to work yesterday I saw something I could not believe.

By the Vo-Tech - er, Lake Washington Technical College - was a car that was pulled over by a silver Buick sedan with flashing red and blue lights recessed into the grill. This car had NO distiguishable features. NONE. Even the liscense plates were regular plates. Not exempt, not "888 WSP", not government, they were normal plates. There was only one cell phone antenna on the rear window and a small white disk on the trunk lid that was about the size of a sand dollar. And yes, it was a cop driving and talking to the other driver, not a security guard.

I don't know if the car was WSP, Kirkland, Redmond, King County, or what, but he shocked me.

 

Yeah I've seen those, volvo's, tahoe's, expeditions, trucks, just about everything these days. I'd like to see WSP replace the Camaro's with the new GTO

 

I saw a newer Impala on hwy 2 the other day. Same story, no WSP plates or anything. Guess we will have to watch much closer when traveling @ 130 on the freeway.

 

They have been using supercharged buick "the swords" (le sabres) for a while now.

 

Completely unmarked cars are very common over here in Kitsap county...being in the Navy, every now and then we have the WSP come in to talk to us about drunk driving, blah, blah, blah, and they say they trade with other counties across the state, every so often they swap out the unmarked cars so nobody really knows what car they might be driving. They say it's mainly to target aggressive drivers and whatnot, but you do see 'em have people pulled over quite frequently, most recent ones I can think of are a Dodge Durango and a newer Impala was the last one I've seen.

Yeah, I use to work at a car wash in Monroe and those guys are coming through with everything now. I know in Monroe and around there they have a silve Impala and a white Z28. You gotta watch for the tinted window and the chrome cell antena. I have also seen all the ones mentioned above.......they're getting tricky those staters

 

I can out-run any of their cars. They give up when you hit 140. But they cheat....those damn helos are fast! Not to mention hard to out-corner! And then there's the radios....they just don't give a guy a fighting chance anymore.

 

You still have to watch out for those Camaros though... because everyone knows as a general rule that Chevys are faster than Pontiacs.

Another story, Saw one of the totally unmarked cars in my rear view mirror, yes one of them got me. But only because he's seen me a few times and was wondering why i still had nevada plates. Good thing I wasn't being a teenager

 

I walked outside my dorm with a few friends and my car was in the 20 minute parking. I see an unmarked malibu pull up behind my car. I walked past him and saw he was writing up a ticket and made like I was just leaving and jumped in the car and started it up. He came up to the window and told me I had been there for 3 hours, even though I had only returned about 30 minutes ago.. But yeah that is where I park my car haha. Anyways, luckily I didn't get a ticket! haha

 

I dislike the people like that 3 hours....when you have been there for 30 minutes. Sounds interesting to me...

Have another story un-un-marked car. Parking at my school (Devry Universtiy) I got a $40 ticket because my Tires were on the white lines. Unbelievable. The guy drives around in his little golf cart looking for things of this nature. I was so mad. I wasnt OVer the line or even all the way over. I simply took my half of the line. I argued till he said fine, ill undo it.

 

That's funny .... 'cuz the fastest verified top speed in this crowd belongs to a Pontiac

 

They are parking ***** at devry they ticket you for BACKING INTO A SPACE!!!

 

Speaking of the Devil I got a warning for that Surprised they haven't gotten me for my exhaust.

 

I dunno if I should be proud or not but I've had the king country ghetto birds spotlight on my car before (my old tbird) when I was down at the street races... followed me all the way from Maple Valley Highway on 405 to 167...

The parking decals are supposed to be place on the back left of the rear window. They check parking 4-5-6-7 times a day. I guess to make it easier they allow no backing in.

 

I've went 155 unofficially, coulda went faster no more Speedo though.
