Default Sold my Bird, Building my Cobra..

Sold my WS6 the other day and bought some stuff for the Snake. Basically all the goodies required to make it a low 12 second ride.

I DID NOT sell the Bird just to buy mods, I sold it for a few reasons:

1. I have to many cars
2. My Wife wanted me to sell it
3. Did I mention my wife deal yet?

But fear not! Coming soon to a garage near me will be a shinny new 06 Zo6! MUHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

BTW,

I talked to Shaun and he is getting lots of new jobs from board members lately! Just wondering who has done what with Shaun and how was your experience?

Sounds cool. My car should be low 12s very soon too. We can race maybe? I have yet to race a Snake, much less a modded one.

I have sent Shaun some people to get work done, but nothing on my car yet. I might let him have a go at my heads. I want him to do the oil ring mod to my car, so what the heck, as long as they are off, MOD EM, right? But that will likely be a while. ($)

Let's see...

I've had Shaun do my motor mounts, install a new y-pipe, fix a leaking timing cover, install a clutch & master cylinder, do a build up on my transmission, and wire up my line lock.

I've also sent a few people his way as well...

Don't candy-coat it Howard, say whats really on your mind.

Building up a Cobra & buying an 06 Z would sure deaden the pain of selling your TA.

I had Shaun do my cut out. He put the switch in the ash tray real Jame Bond like and left room to install line lock or maybe Nitrous for the future.

He's gonna re-do the cut out do to clearance issues, I was pleased. My list right now that I would let work on my car is pretty short Ellis & Shaun.

And Mark of course, Ellis & Shaun are the list of people I would actually pay.
Mark works for Pepsi & Mike's.

Well I'm pleased to hear that so many people have given Shaun a Chance! I have known him for quite a while now and would trust him to work on ANY of my cars knowning I will get the best work money can buy.

I called Brads custom auto a while back just to see what they charge for a Header install......

They wanted 1000 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I then asked them how much for a cam install and they wanted 1600!!!!!

Needless to say I called Shaun and he only wanted 500 for headers and 650 for a cam install!!!!!!

Hrrmmmmm lets see here... What ever will I do with such a hard decision!

Howierd42,

If a "pu$$y whipped sell out" means being 25yrs old, making 6 figures, and surrounded by young hot women that are dying to be naked for you, then I will gladly wear my Sell out Badge with Honor!

lol

Well, only being 25 I guess I kind of have to take it easier on you. I am sorry that you only made 6 figures last year. Keep practicing though kid, you'll get here eventually. And my post revolved more around the "2. My wife wanted me to sell it" part of your post.
As far as Fords go, ask anyone on this board, I will give them their dues when they are due, but until then, they are just another wanna be muscle car that couldn't hang until Carol Shelby started to help them or until the f-body stopped production.

Yes I am a photographer and video production engineer

I use a Nikon D-70 with a 80x 2gig pro card. Originally I was looking at the D70 and the Canon 10D...

I chose the D-70 as it was the same price and the lens was FAR FAR FAR better on the Nikon and the Nikon had a Higher Buffer speed which allowed me to take pics at 3.5fps at max res without ever having to pause until the 2 gig card is FULL!

I checked out your pics... Not bad my friend. There are a few pointers I could probably send your way on photographing plant life and sceneries.

I will go take some pics of my flowers outside and show you some examples of shutter/light formulas that can make or break a picture.

The Canons and Nikons have fairly good "Auto" settings but pics have so much more uniqueness to them when you mess with stuff and break away from auto.

Give me 30-45 mins

And thanks I do what I can with what I have... those were all shot with a POS Sony P51 Cybershot 2.1MP cheapy camera lol. But it got me started. I'm always intersted in tips and pointers so I can improve.

Please be very cautious with what gets posted on the site. I would hate to have to edit your post due to site restrictions. Maybe upload them and then PM links
