Steph and I saw it DLP tonight. KICK *** MOVIE!! It tied in great save for one thing. Chewy. we came home and watched IV (gold extended edition) and they tied in great making IV a whole new movie to watch as things makes sence. Except Chewy does not act like he knows Obe wan (SP) in the Scene in IV. THAT would have made the tie in complete

I agree there should have been more on the Love afiar but then again that is what II was all about and we all know how bad it flopped....

I knew from the first scenes where he cut the guys head off who the Trator and leader of the Sith was. that part came together great.

Over all I loved it. I do think there is room for III.V(3.5) showing some of what happen in the 18 or so missing years

BTW did anyone catch the Millenium Falcon pulling in on the home planet?

Yes, and did you catch George Lucas' cameo in the scene where Anikan is running in to meet with Palpatine at the opera?

I saw it again yesterday with my folks and I musta got up to use the bathroom cuz I don't recall Obi-Wan being on the Wookie planet.......Yoda went there to help them while Obi-Wan went to find/destroy General Grevious. Did I miss something??? (Not trying to be argumentative, just concerned I actually missed something) The Millenium Falcon shot was hot.

When OB1 and Anikan come back to Coruscant with Palpatine they are landing in the space port. Just before the camera cuts away you see the Millennium Falcon land in the space port (look to the lower right of the screen and you will see the blue flame from the engines and then you will notice it is the famous ship.) The GL cameo is a bit more hidden. He is blue and dressed in brown leather like an admiral or something (go figure). He is talking to a blue woman and will be in the lower left hand corner just as Anikan cuts into Palpatine's booth.

I wonder if it's the actual millenium falcon or if it's just another corellian star freighter.

My guess........it was supposed to be the real one. There are way too many tie-ins in this episode for it not to be, in my opinion. But then again, who knows.

That would be my guess too. If not for Chewie and Princess Leia's ship being in this one I would think it to be some other corellian freighter but we recall from the originals that the ship has been around a while and has been HEAVILY modified. (Han must hang out on ls1tech.)

I was pretty jazzed to see the "Organa" cruiser & Capt. Antilles in this one.....along with about 11ty-five billion other little things.

Well tonight Steph and I finished the first trilogy. IMHO Jedi was best and Empire is not as shocking if you see III first

III Ties it in and makes the whole set. I would still like to see what happened from III to IV but as a whole it is great

I guess I am in Star Wars Bliss

We finally went to see it last night, and I will say it is one of the most impressive movies I've seen. But it is also one of the most depressing. And although I knew going in what was going to happen, I still felt like crap when I walked out. Even after ol' Ben proved love is stronger than hate. Kick-*** fight scenes!!! Can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

I suppose we'll have books written to cover the time between III and IV, but it won't be the same...

I do know what you mean about Star Wars Bliss... seen III twice now, and intend to go a third time before it leaves the Cinerama.
