Leaf Blowers, any favorites??
I'm about to make the purchase. Anybody have any favorites or ones to stay away from. The battery powered cordless ones are appealing, I just want to make sure they are powerful enough to do the job right.
Maybe the gas ones are the way to go. No cords and plenty of power.

IMO Opinion the Toro Super Blower is hands down the best, 215 MPH. It has a true variable speed switch the others use an air choke.
Gas is going to give you throttle control and you will get extra shine from the two stroke smoke you blow all over your car.

I'm gonna pay for that one.

Toro as well - they should be on sale this weekend everywhere. Aside from opening the door and wiping it down, it does get the water out of small crevases like around lights and door handles.
Would that be synthetic or natural bristle?
I use a broom.

I understand the reasoning - to reduce scratching the car while drying it. But I wonder how much more pitting you end up with over time from blowing small particles of dirt at your car @ 200mph? There is ALWAYS a trade-off.

To dry the car start at one end of the street, stomp gas and hold on, then repeat as needed

I highly doubt there is any long term pitting issues. Take my car or previous cars as examples. They get washed once a week minimum. That comes out to over 125 washes in the two plus years I had the black WS6 and you know how it looked. It only takes one swipe with a towel that has debris in it or over something stuck to the car and you are screwed. At least the blower eliminates that. Trade-offs, no way on this one.
