The 11th!?!? NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Well if you guys are still partying after 9 pm I will swing by, otherwise I will have to sit it out and wait for the next one (on a THURSDAY).

Is there a number to call to see if you are still gathered?

Well, the date may have to be the 16th as John (Amys hubby) has to work the 11th weekend and won't be home to enjoy the festivities...And I know everyone wants to see howards car!

So who all can make it to the 16th at Amy's? And maybe we can do a lil cruise or something on the 11th...Maybe make a trip to the beach or something...?

I think I may be able to make it on the 16th... I work until 5, but I'd be free after that.

Here is the deal:
Husband spaced and thought his three day was *this* weekend - turns out its NEXT WEEKEND.
hand.staple.forehead
Now that I have fully allowed my spouse to embarass me, *he* gets to clear out the garage by himself

We also found out last night from Wade himself we can get an entire section to ourselves any weekday but not weekends (beggars can't be losers) and that is rather generous of him soooooooo

Range Day
June 16th Thursday
Can book for 6PM
Head on over to the house for food, brew and fire pit after

BBQ Day:
June 18th Saturday
Can start anytime - 4ish like a Quizno's meet up?
The Master Chef will be present! (you really don't want to miss what he does with BBQ food)
Dawgs, kids, spouses, blow up dolls all welcome. Bring something to make sure they don't get bored.

SECOND SOUND OFF......

It only means you can't get caught drawing a moustache on the Mona Lisa

They have silhouettes of course - just no "head shot" 12x12" target squares.

Cool, I can do the 18th... any ideas about how long it'll go? I may need to look into a place to crash if it's that late. Hell, I don't even know where it is yet... guess I should factor that in too. lol

I imagine it will run well into "dark" - hanging out by a bonfire on the lake on a full stomach makes time warp somehow.

If you aren't allergic to cats, we have a guest bedroom, TV room with two fold out couches and the grand room couch (oh, the 'family room' couch too). 2800 sq ft leaves space for a lot of couches! There is plenty of crash space - and bathrooms as well.

Well damn, sounds like I could move in and just hide in one of the couches and I'd never be found. lol Yea if yall don't mind I'll crash there for the night and help with the cleanup the next day. Thanks

So what date is it? You have me confused. First it was the 11th then the 16th and then back to the 11th? Weekends only here. Oh, I love .44's!!!

Don't feel bad, it got very confusing when husband "remembered" his drill weekend dates (why do you think he married me?)

Range on Thursday the 16th

BBQ on Saturday the 18th

And bring that .44! I haven't owned one for decades - it was always fun to let newbie macho guys smack themselves in the forehead from the recoil

Hmmm, sounds like a cook off is in order...

Grills don't cool down until around midnight and I always have too much food - I don't think the *real* party would start until about then

No, the cats would find you and think you are a heated blankie to sleep on.

Cleanup the next day? Maybe outside but the house is done before I go to bed.
I'm NOT a morning person so I hate waking up to a mess.
(there is no emoticon for a neurotic, whats up with that?)

So if I read this correctly it is now a 2 day event with one day off in between? Sounds groovy to me.

Sure, why not? I only need enough time to marinate more meat

Cool... I do believe I can make both those dates. I'll show up to the range with my Glock 17 and trusty .38 S&W M10 frame.

Works for me. One day to focus on blowing stuff up and one to focus on BS'ing and eating (something I am far too good at)

I have my P-14 but I need to find or buy another barrel tool (for assembly/disassembly) for the 1911 style guns as mine is packed away in some unknown box that will be in storage as of Monday......and I do NOT wanna go digging thru 8 gazillion boxes for one tiny $5 item.
