Cool June: Range and BBQ Day???

Where's the poll thingie round here...

Ok, lets see what dates work best for a range day at Wades and BBQ after. We will be hosting it at our house in Woodinville - fire pit on the lake after pigging out and a 5 man raft. Plenty of parking, this house has hosted 30 cars for a birthday party and twice that many people in the house. Debating on renting a dart board, that was loads of fun last time round (no, none of you were here for that).

So far in looking at June its fairly open on weekends. Chose one or two and lets throw in a weekday just in case.

June 11th, Saturday All day affair of course, don't see any car shows listed (don't know about B'town list). I think this would be the best day of all since the kiddies won't be out of school yet. And its a few days before I have more surgery. While watching me drool hopped up on drugs is amusing, I would rather be able to shoot straight and eat!

June 16th, Thursday We can start at Wades around 4pm and be done in time for my chef son to be here to make food taste like heaven. Bring live lobster, fresh slab of meat or whatever - we will have three BBQ's going at all times.

June 26th, Sunday Wades might be harder to book but the BBQ and tool talk can still happen over fresh cooked Salmon. Fire pit and beer on the lake, bets taken on who falls out of the raft first.

We will have three BBQ set ups: A large Webber, propane rock oven, Coleman gas cooktop. Considering the best baby back pork BBQ ribs are found at the commissary, we will buy enough for all that shows up along with chicken breasts and Brats. BYOB. Heavy duty mixer on hand for you fruity types.

The rest of the stuff like salads, veggies, rolls/buns, chips etc is what you put in your car where the back seat was. I *expect* to see some of our Portland counterparts show up - no excuses!

SOUND OFF!

I am down like a clown.......and we can always drool while medicated together if it is after your surgery.

All those dates work for me, although I am flying back to Cali for court and some Dr's appts from the 13th-15th but I should be back that evening (the 15th) or first thing Thursday morning.

So let's get this show on the road.

I'm pretty sure I'd be down any of those weekends... the 11th would work if that's best for everyone else. Don't think there are any CCC races that weekend either.

Aww.. I won't have my new rifle by then. Is it an indoor or outdoor range, and how long? I'll take all of you on with my 10/22 .

I wonder if you can shoot a 12 ga. at Wade's.... I have yet to shoot my new Winchester Defender 1300 12ga. Pump.

I'd love to make the 11th but who knows what I'll be doing as far as work goes.

I looked at the schedule and those were the dates where not much was happening race or show wise. There are still a ton of people not heard from yet.

Also trying to work on Seth to come out to take pictures. He isn't as easy to bribe these days but his work is phenomenal...if its the 16th he may have no choice

howierd42: warning note...if my son is going to master his craft you will be chased off with a really sharp 12" knife. He gets touchy if anyone comes close to his grills but trust me, its worth it. Just have some Jager handy to "be a helper".

93TAWicked1 Yes, we have three computers on DSL. Dial up sucks!

Rott: I only share my meds with the dog. Reason: he acts goofy and drools anyway and we can't tell the difference.

Ryan K. Yes!

Bubba & Nathan: We'll work on it - throw me another date if none of em' are good and we can consider it!

I almost forgot the "Friendly Poker Games"!
One will probably break out after the BBQ but we are getting ready to host them again three nights a month. They rotate from weekday evenings to weekends. The only difference is we don't allow any firearms of any type...just in case

Not a problem, I bring my own meds. And I reckon I won't be playing poker cuz my gun doesn't leave my side.
