Well, I would have been by now if it weren't for the damn clutch issues I've had this year... so far, the tally is $2k on clutches in the past 6 months.

But next year... Going to have juice (gonna go with a 150 wet shot, or maybe a direct port made for the LSX manifold), rollbar, and we're gonna gut the piggie a little bit, also do a set a custom set of heads while we're at it.

In your words, "Stand the f*ck by!"

He, it's bee too long since I flipped you some so enjoy it, will ya? I think Ryan is close now. (11.22 last weekend) And that is where I plan to be next year. Of sourse by then your car will be in the 8s.

Oh, I got the rockers on, put in the plugs, got my new wires on, and put them purdy valve covers back on. Now all I need is the water pump to show up & I'm good to go.

Yeah, what's up with that anyway?

I ordered a Meziere electric pump. The stock one just started leaking. So I figured I'll need extra cooling next year with the blower so why not. OK, I'll want it. And Tbyrne price matched Thunders GP price....

So I hear those new head gaskets are the ****, eh?

Isn't there quite a bit of wiring and such for the electric pump? You really are gonna be cramming to get that sucker in there right before having to jump outta bed in the wee hours of Saturday morning to go racing.

Its actually VERY easy to wire an electric pump. 2 or 3 wires, 1 hot, 1 ground and 1 to a relay.

Like Boyce said, not really according to the instr I've seen. I'm hoping it's pretty simple. Bill said it's easy. It would be more involved if I was going to hook up a switch to be bale to run the pump & fans in staging lanes wiht the engine off. Which I will do later when I have more time.

Hmmm... and the wiring part is what was keeping me from getting one of these. Being that easy, I'll probably snag me one this fall... hell it don't sound any more complicated than wiring my shift light (that's also 3 wires).

Now that I have had a bit more time to think about it.

1 wire (ground) I ran to one of the crossover tube bolts. The other wire (hot) went into the fuse box under the hood by the drivers side lights. I put it into a fuse that had "accy power" and "Key on" ability. This combo'd with the SLP fan switch made for a VERY effective cooling combo when the car was shut down.

**DOWNSIDE**
Running this combo while the car is shut off is a severe drain on the battery. When we were at the PE 130 I had the battery go dead when I walked away from the car for 5 minutes with the fans and pump running.

Best way to do it would be to let the car idle while running the high speed fans and pump. Shut the car off and the temp will naturally climb a few degrees. Then turn the pump and fans on for about a minute, this will help bring down the block temp pretty quickly.

If I could do it over again and wasnt using the car for ORR I would install a AMP/volt meter to monitor the battery and alternator while running the pump and fans.
