Thanks Jason, I talked to some guys at the Nationals about Eagle stuff. They all pretty much said the cranks are good parts, but the rods are all made in China now & come here as blanks, so what you get is a fair piece of metal that turns out as good as the guy machining them. They all said Callies were good rods for under 1000 hp engines. Any more than that & I'd want to step up on everything. I'm looking at around 750 by my figuring, so it should be good.
And if I can get enough tire under the car, a trans brake or higher stall might be just the thing. If not then what I have will be pushing the 11.50s that I can fit on it. And by the time I build boost (~ 3k) the tires should hold. It could all change with 1 trip down the track, but that is my plan for the moment.

FWIW, Shaun did a mini-tub on that supercharged Z06 and he did a really good job with it... Certainly didn't look like a hack job and did look as stock as it could considering the dude had those 345/30/19 meats on it.
