Yes, and no...yes as in you still have air blowing up there, but no as in you don't get the drying affect from the a/c to blow dry air over the window to clear it up...just takes longer, that's all. More muggy too...

Once I get my second car, I'm stripping the friggin AC outta my car. Along with anything else that ain't bolted on and needed to either A) keep the car together, or B) make it drive down the track.

Heh... sometimes I forget stuff like that. Yeah, you're right... your car has nothing to program. Should be easier to get it to pass though, since you don't have to screw with a computer.

the a/c is still used though to de-humidify or dry out the air to clear up the windows faster it doesn't cool the air down just takes the moisture out.

Interesting. Hadn't thought it did anything like that. I never noticed any ill effects when I yanked the AC. It's just as fast with wet heat as dry heat.

I don't know why all you guys wanna take your a/c out...it'll save you some weight, but not gonna really gain you all that much, I mean, I prefer to have a fast car, and sacrifice less than .1 in the 1/4 to be able to cruise around in comfort any time I want to. That's just my .02 tho.
