Default NW F-Body Takes 1-2 Aug. 12th

Great condition out for racing tonight. And I must commit on Pacific Raceways's 100% turn around from last friday, Great job guys!

Ended up with 5 cars for the Semi's including 3 NW F-Body teammates. My car ran REALLY consistant all night and I got a few breaks along the way just like any other racer.

I took second. I did not catch the name of the guy who took the win but he is a great racer and I hope to see him out there more often. I am sure Bill can fill you in on who he was, I was talking with him and he said he comes out once a year.

As for my night, I got the great Lineup of the Cyclone, then R.C., Bill Salia, and then Don Berry. I cut some good lights and was able to advance to the finals where i red lighted.... But I knew i had to cut a good light so I tried a little too hard. Oh well.

Not too bad for the first time past the first round! Anybody have pics? I would love to see some

Yes it was a great night. I had a blast cheering you on Jake, you saw the list of cars he pulled. Jake earned that runner up trophy tonight for sure.

Doug got to run Joe in the Viper in time trials and beat him and was standing a good 6" taller when he got back to the pits.

I thought the track did treat us better, I got 5 time trial runs in and they just seemed nicer.

Jake deserves all the kudos. He can drive. Reaction times were great every time, and consistant runs back to back to back. Sweet looking trophy too.
Congrats Strobe on a win well deserved.

Wish I could have been there! Still was getting stuff squared away on my car, but finally got the ok today from Dan at NW Diff to let it rip... he said "Be nice to it..." I said, "Yeah right... you don't know me very well."

Hey Congrats you guys.

I know I dont race with you guys But hey congrats anyways.

I personally think Dan & I are done with CCCA racing for the year (maybe even for good we will see what next year brings). With Dan leaving to head back over to god only knows where & school getting ready to start for the kids. I rather spend time with them than dealing with the headaches of which track is treating us good & other drama.

Plus heck Face it There is no way in Heck I am going to spend $50 to fill up the Camaros. I aint going to do it.

11's and my first hardware in a week! I am in Seventh heaven. Felt really good to get the win lights against some of the real racers out there. I about died when The lady at the Booth didn't give Bill Salia his dot, instead his dot went onto my car! Same with Don Berry, Luck was in the hands last night.
