Default GTO Dyno results

Well, you can say I'm happy sine I now have 30rwhp & 20rwtq more than I did before. And the tranny shifts WAY better than it used to. And it launches hard now too. But the a/f is still in the 11s so there is more there. And at this dip I used to get @ 5200rpm, I now have 50rwhp more! Not bad from a K&N filter & a quickie from Dr Groo.

We'll see what the track reveals tomorrow. For sure it will run fater than 14.25 now....I thank you Ellis! Imagine what it will run like after you actually get to log some runs & play with it.

Wow! Great results from just a tune! But you might want to keep the quickie comments off the boards, because you KNOW you're about to get **** for it!

Now WHO on here would flip ME ****?

Ellis & I were both hoping for 300hp, but with it changing the 1st time from 11 a/f to 12, we thought we'd leave the fuel along since he wasn't going to be there today. So it still may get there. Oh, and these are SAE #s.

287.9rwhp, 302.4rwtq - was 257.8 & 281.3

That's sounding much better. I'm sure there's more there. We just gotta get the Groo to the upcoming Dyno Day so we can both hone in our A/F.

Ah, no wonder why your #s have been lower than most. Yeah, once you get it worked out and get closer to 12.8 to 13.0 you'll be happy.

Did you play with the IAT retard tables at all? What advance are you running from 3,500 and up?

YEAH, IT RAN OK. I THINK 30HP & 4/10THS IS ACCEPTABLE FROM AN AIR FILTER & TUNING....sorry, caps lock. Anyway, it went from 14.25 @ 97 to 13.88 @ 101.8 (those are the best numbers for each category from my 5 runs)

Wow! Nice improvement. I wish I'd been there. Was that on stock tires? What was your 60'? I'm taking notes!

Yes Crisiman, that was on stock tires. My A4 doesn't spin the tires, so traction isn't an issue. But the 60's are still slow. It's better, but not good yet. I ran 2.1s all day. It was running 2.2 - 2.3s. Ellis has gotten rid of most of the problems, maybe all of them now. I am sure Ellis can get your car into the 13s too.

And if any of you guys with 05s (or 05 hoods) are wanting to hook up your hood scoops to a cold air filter, stay tuned. We are working on something... & it DOES seem to make a difference at the track. (we are trying to figure out a way for 04s too)
