Default hello NW

well new to the ls1 club.. I have a 2000 z28 with 24,000 miles I just picked up from a one owner.. real clean car.. I am a huge turbo guru so I have a few question for those who have a kit from turbo tech.. I want a kit that will be streetable and be able to get me into the low low 11's abd still keep my a/c.. I have been talking to the guys at turbo tech alot lately.. seeing how they have done a custom turbo kit for me in the past and a few other odds and ends I am getting a decent price.. so.. hjow many of you have seen the 60-1 kit and what are the results.. hp, tq and the 1320?..

LOL I'm pretty turbo illiterate myself. Although another kit to consider is the Phamspeed kit manufactured down here in Oregon, seems like the in think now.

Welcome, but if you're going turbo make sure you cover your a$$, so you can enjoy it.. Forged block and internals, cam, heads, tranny, and clutch. It'll run you at least 15k. If you want a mid - high 11s car, just go H/C and bolt ons. It should be 6-9k.

With that setup you'll be fine, you should be able to take the majority of cars out there. Note out there, not in here. Well there's a certain 71 Z28 you'd should be able to take.

well I forgot to mention.. mine is a auto.. been looking at a rear end.. and like I said Im a turbo guy.. what can the ls1 engine handle with all stock internals?

It can handle somewhere around 550/550, but that's pushing it. With 500/500 it'll be safer, but you'll need to upgrade your tranny. You'll get the full enjoyment tho playing safe w/ the Forged block. Otherwise it'll be on the back of your mind everytime you hit it.

Can't believe No one has said the name yet...

Contact Ryan K. or silverbullet02

They are both studs with ls1 turbo's. Both from Turbo tech. They will assist you better then most on here. Hope you find the setup you are looking for.

If it were me I would just for it all at once and go for the T-76 Turbo with meth injection and an intercooler

Like strobe said, I'd stick w/ the 76. Much better suited for your car.

yeah I will try to make it to the next meet.. when is the next gathering by the way.. and I will more than likely end up in my other car, its a 04 mitsu evo 8, its faster than the camaro for now
