Even if you subtract 10% it is still 200mph. And he was doing over 100 on one wheel. That is just stupid. Not stupid fast, just stupid.

Is crazy and on the street. My friend had a GSXR1100 built to around 200hp and killed himself, ran into the door of a PU truck that pulled out of a side street at 120+ mph. The new 1300's run 9.5's stock, that is crazy fast with zero protection.

I'm selling my 2004 Bandit 1200S ($5400 obo). It is a sport touring. Great for cruising around, but power when needed and doesn't look like a cruiser.

I think you can take more than 10% away. Listen to what gear he is in an look at the speedo. He starts in first and then gets to 100mph in 2nd gear? Its waaaay off.

My bike would go to 100 in 1st gear when it had stock gearing. It will still go around 90 or so in 1st. That part is not unbelieveable.

I think what we realy need to figure out is how he stayed on one wheel at 140 mph that is the true question,,If you can figure that one out then you got the rest covered!!

Another quick way of knowing for sure is he is at 11000 RPM,s in high gear and the motor is reving its **** off so I kinda think its real. I have to give the man his props for that one,,even at 20% off he is still doing 185 or more thats fast on 2 wheels, and when he let of her you could see the bike lunge down in the front and Im sure that wasnt him hitting the front breaks!! LOL

That's how you know it's geared down. You can tell that the bike is all motor from the sound and I can't think of any bikes off hand that will pull to the limiter in high gear. Even if they have extensive motor work.

140 on the back wheel is not too terribly difficult. I go well over 100 on the back wheel almost daily.

Here...check out this guy. 180-200 mph wheelies. Look at the speed difference between the busa in the first video and this guy. Insane.

Thanks, but 1200 cc's is a wee bit much for me........750 would be as high as I would go. I about killed myself on a 600 when I was 18 and there is waaaaaaaay more power in that 1200.

No problem. But for what its worth. The Bandit is detuned and only puts out 100 HP from the factory and the new 600's are putting out about 105 HP. This is also a heavy bike (heavier than the busa) so on the freeway you don't get blown around like a light sport bike. Just FYI

It is more of a weight/size issue then power for me....I am a whopping 5'6" so I need something I can reach the ground on.

To me skill isn't the issue if someone is driving that insane. I have cleaned up way too many M/C wrecks to ever be "impressed" by that kind of riding.

Stock? I find it hard to believe. Truely. 1st gear 0-100 mph on a stock street bike? The hayabusa the most powerful production street bike ever created max's out at 85 in first. Impressive yes but not 100mph.
. I still doubt the speed of the video. Use the lines in the road for reference and it doesnt equate.

The new 05-06 GSXR1000 have a really tall 1st gear stock and will do 85mph like the busa. Change a $15 sprocket and it will easily do 100 mph in 1st gear. I have a friend down here in the portland area that has gone 235 mph on his turbo busa, and has the gps data to back it up. This guy is deffinately not stock, because after 2000 all manufacturers put a speed limiter of 186 MPH on all street bikes. The speed limiter can be removed through a programmer, similar to our cars.
